The 2008 Citgo US Wind & Water Open is set for May 9-11, 2008, on the beautiful
sands of McGee Beach in Corpus Christi, Texas. Corpus Christi, known for high
winds and a warm climate, is the official host city of the 2008 USWWO. See our ads in

The 2008 Citgo USWWO features national championships and US titles in wind and
water extreme sports. With nearly $10K in purse money and prizes, the US Wind &
Water Open features the The Port of Corpus Christi US Windsurfing Regatta, the US
Kiteboarding Open, USWWO 5K , The Corpus Christi Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
Mixer & C-101 Bikini Contest, and the USWWO Expo. The US Wind & Water Open,
formerly the Velocity Games, is an international favorite to both the competitors and
the spectators.

Over the past 20 years, the national events have evolved from a local weekend outing
